Which Microsoft operating systems will qualify for the Upgrade Program? |

To be eligible for the Program, you must purchase a new PC between June 26, 2009 and January 31, 2010. The PC must come with a valid Windows Vista® Home Premium, Windows Vista® Business or Windows Vista® Ultimate Certificate of Authenticity (COA) attached.

What is the cost for the upgrade? |
| |
There is a fee for this upgrade to cover materials, shipping, handling, fulfillment overhead and import duty. The fee will vary depending on your location and the upgrade product being requested. For some selected countries, the upgrade is free. The total charge will be presented to you prior to final submission of your order. At that time, you will have the opportunity to opt out before final order submission. |

Do I have to provide an OS product key on Windows COA or Proof of Purchase (POP) to prove the purchase date? |

A Windows COA is NOT required. However, you have to input the system model name, model and serial number of your PC during the ordering process to check eligibility. You are requested to send a copy of the POP to prove eligibility. |

When can I expect to receive the upgrade kit? |

Orders created after June 26, 2009 will be collected and held for processing until Microsoft's Windows® 7 general availability date. At that time, shipments will begin in increments. No, only notebooks with part numbers included in the list are eligible for this upgrade option program. It is likely that your notebook has pre-installed Windows Vista Basic, Vista Starter Edition, Windows XP OS, or no OS pre-installed. The Windows 7 upgrade kit is free of charge. The costs incurred are only for shipping and handling fees which are dependent on country of destination. No, only online payments thru Visa and Mastercard are accepted in order to proceed with the Windows 7 upgrade order. |

Yes, up to 5 valid serial numbers are allowed on one order. They will be sent in one shipment. |

No, we are sorry that we can only ship to the list of countries shown in the website. However, you may want to consider getting your friends in the list of countries for the purchase of the upgrade and ship it to them. |

How do I activate my upgrade? |
| |
Qualifying end-users who have received the upgrade media can activate their upgraded operating system by installing the upgrade media and applying the Product Activation Key supplied with the upgrade media's Certificate of Authenticity (COA). Therefore, end-users who receive the upgrade media should retain the upgrade media's COA label and associated Product Activation Key for future use. |

You can order online starting 1st August 2009 for Southeast Asia, South Asia, India or 1st October 2009 for Hong Kong and Taiwan. Shipment of Windows 7 upgrade kit will commence on 22nd October 2009 and please allow 3-4 weeks upon successful order validation |
