Toshiba Introduces 2 dynadock™ Universal Docking Stations offering Convenient Connectivity for Notebook PC systems

SINGAPORE, 26 May 2010 - Toshiba's Computer Systems Division (CSD), a division of Toshiba Singapore Pte Ltd, today announced new additions of the dynadock™ U & dynadock™ V Universal USB Docking Stations into its existing Must-Have Gadgets Family line. These universal docking stations work with most Windows® Notebook PCs, offering users a convenient way to stay connected to accessories like monitors, mouse, keyboard, printers, modem, speakers and more with just one USB cable. |
The dynadock™ U features an extensive suite of outputs including support for 1920 x 1200 monitor resolutions and 7.1 digital audio, while the dynadock™ V delivers a compact and affordable solution for both office and home use.
Enhanced Productivity: Get additional USB2.0 ports, Ethernet LAN, VGA/DVI, audio in/out connectivity to your Notebook PC with just one USB cable. The dynadock™ also includes easy access USB Sleep n Charge1 ports that supply power to cell phones, MP3 players or other devices even when the PC is turned off or disconnected from the dynadock™ V completely.
DVI/VGA High Resolution output: A built-in HD video card allows users to connect an extra VGA or DVIDVI2 monitor with up to 1920 x 1200 resolution (dynadock™ V), thus enabling users to connect their Notebook PC to a large HD monitor to surf the web while checking email, watching online videos or working on a report. Both products essentially allow users to extend their desktop by three times, giving users up to three displays3 simultaneously- one monitor through the dynadock™ and another monitor via the VGA port of the Notebook PC.
On top of that, both devices are programmed to remember resolution configurations and settings for next time and return all windows to the host screen when unplugged.

The dynadock™ U and dynadock™ V are available in Singapore through McLogic International Pte Ltd (Tel: +65 67482818). Available now with SRP - S$199 for dynadock™ V, S$279 for dynadock™ U.
